There are a number of ways to contact me.
First of all, you can leave a comment right here on the blog to ask questions, or let me know that you’re looking for certain information.
Second, you can log a ticket into the helpdesk, which tends to get around most of the spam filters - at http://www.helpdeskfx.com
Third, go back to the homepage of the blog, and sign up to my newsletter. In the first email I have my email address, and phone number listed. I kinda hate putting that info out on my sites at times, so I’d rather run that through email with my subscribers.
So, there you have it! I’m always open to helping others, and answering any questions you may have. Don’t be shy if you have a question!
Thanks!
Michelle

Hi, Michelle,
I just bought your 98Meg Package from Jason, one of your resellers. The sample pictures include stars, smilies and magnifying glasses, but I can’t find those images in the actual graphics files. These are images that, as a reseller, I would particularly like to promote to my customers as they would be useful for their purposes. Any idea what happened to these images?
Best regards,
Andrea Wilson
Hi Andrea,
Everything should be in your files there, but I’ll shoot you a quick email. There should be folders as in /stars and /smilies etc - so that you can find what you’re looking for. Maybe the reseller did not have all the folders, or possibly reorganized the file structure. Possibly some files became corrupt - ya just never know!
I’ll send you an email now though!
Thanks!
Michelle
Michelle…we talked a while back about a PLR graphics site I am about to launch. You encouraged me to do it and I am. Took me a while because little pieces of real life got in the way.
I have a question. My photos are going to be effectively PLR or copyright-free. I don’t know which is the correct attribute to assign to them on the site. I get different opinions. So, can photos be PLR or would I just use copyright-free to let the purchasers do what they want to do with them, except sell the packs themselves.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Pat
Hiya Pat,
Glad to hear from you! Leave a link here when you get your site up, I’d love to take a look at it.
I think for your site, you are talking about photos that you have taken yourself, that you will be selling as stock photos, correct? I can see why the conflicting info.
Usually PLR will allow people to add their name to a product as if they created it. This allows them to rebrand the product, change it, and create something unique to them.
Copyright free (although I would have to look that up to be sure) is essentially the same, and implies that you are “giving up copyright.” In that case, the photos would essentially be Public Domain - which means other people can pretty much do whatever they want with your material.
Now, ROYALTY-FREE is what most stock photographers do when they want a one time payment, which would allow the buyers to use those images over and over - without further payment (or royalties). This is probably the route I would take. This would protect you as the original copyright holder (since you took the images) - yet would allow people one time purchase of the photos without any further payment.
I would add in a usage rights file that states usage of the photos. If you do not want anyone else reselling the packages I would state that clearly on both your site, and within a rights file. I probably have some examples here of rights files you can use for stock shots - so if you need them, shoot me an email. mkbrouse at gmail.com
I would also add in the usage rights exactly what people can and can’t do with your images. I can help you with that if you need help. Just let me know when you get your page up, and I’ll take a look!
Thanks Pat!
