Happy New Year 2009!
Hey, I’m hoping that everyone had an awesome roll over to the New 2009 Year.
We watched the ball drop on TV. Hooray! The hubby fell asleep about 2 hours BEFORE midnight… the kids and I woke him up long enough to say Happy New Year, and off he went back to bed. Hmph. Old timer.
The kids of course were wound for sound, but didn’t stay up much past midnight. Me, I’m still up. 2:30 in the morning, and I’ve spread out a New Year’s report that you can pick up right here for free. It’s called “Sticky Resolutions” - for making those resolutions STICK! I’ve put together some things that I think are important to help you have an awesome 2009. Just click right here to download Sticky Resolutions, and guess what. You have full Private Label Rights to do whatever you wish with it!
Cut the thing up and create articles, blog posts, etc. Who can’t use a bit of extra content?
Now, I have also went through this evening and sent my last email to many of my subscribers. There are various reasons for killing a subscriber base of over 4500 people. Most importantly, I wasn’t doing a very great job with my subscribers. I never sent emails out “on time” if there is such a thing. I didn’t always give out great content. At some points I wouldn’t email anything for months.
That type of crazy email method ended up causing folks to forget who I was, where they signed up - and even WHY they signed up. Most of them were from a site called www.graphicfreebie.com. Hmm. Come to think of it, since I’m killing that list - I’ll have to kill that opt in box. Not sure what I should do with that site. Maybe I’ll sell it - it’s one heck of a list building machine, that’s for sure. Will have to go back and take a look at what all I have on there, and DO SOMETHING with it.
Pardon me, I got sidetracked again.
Anyhow, one of my things to do for the New Year was start with a clean email list of my best of the best folks. They have already signed up to the blog here. Not that I don’t consider everyone on my “lists” as great people, it’s just time consuming, and difficult to write emails for folks that are no longer interested. People change. I’ve changed some of the stuff I’m doing, and so have they - which makes my emails no longer a pleasure. Who needs that? I sure don’t and neither do they. Best to just delete the subscriber bases and start all over with the people who truly WANT to stick around.
That means I’ll be able to send ONE email instead of 10 (never was great with autoresponders, but that’s all about to change) - and I can actually concentrate better on just those handful of subscribers. First note to the new subscriber base goes out tomorrow on New Year’s Day! We’ll ALL be starting fresh. Yay!
Now, what I would like you to do for the New Year, is add a comment below to let me know what you really need to learn this year. I do a lot of different stuff, so what would you like me to teach you?
Do you want to learn more about Internet Marketing, Articles, Graphics, Blogging, Techy Stuff? Want to know how to create slideshows and videos for YouTube? Want to learn how to sing? Heheheh - How about how to train animals? How to crack open a Geode? How to paint a wall? Ok, now I’m getting silly - but YES - I DO infact know how to train animals, and yes, I do know a bit about singing in rock bands, and how to crack open a Geode, and even how to paint a wall!
I also know a thing or two about domain names, keywords, setting up websites, blogging, building relationships, Internet Marketing, Instant Messages, Myspace, Twitter, Facebook, Forums, Digging, Graphics, Adobe Photoshop, designing ebook covers and minisites… yep - even how to run a Web Host Manager account. If I DON’T know how to do it, I can point you to someone who DOES I bet.
So, what have you been having the most trouble with online? What do you need to know the most? What would you like to learn for FREE? Yeah, yeah, I’ll created “paid” stuff too - if you really feel the need to spend some of your hard earned cash, but there are many things I can quickly teach that won’t require any money being spent.
Just hit the comment section below, and tell me all about it! It’s just you and me. We’ll create a nice little plan of what you want to know, and what I can do for you that will really make a difference in your online biz. Haven’t made a dime yet? Well, let me know that too - and we’ll see if we can’t get a little jingle in your pockets!
Thanks, and Hope YOUR 2009 is truly WONDERFUL!
Michelle

Hello, Michelle. This is Bonnie Boots from The Internet Wizards Magazine dropping in to wish you a HAPPY new year. It was fun to look through your blog and see how things have changed for you since I interviewed you. Funny thing–I started out this morning doing a search to see who else might be using the Padangan theme and discovered YOU are. “Wow,” I thought. “What a strange coincidence. ” Then I followed your link to Twitter and found you exchanging comments with Elmer Hurlstone, who lives just across the bay from me here in Florida. Isn’t it strange how we can wander around in something as vast as cyberspace and still bump into our friends and neighbors? LOL!
Hey there Bonnie!
How the heck are ya? So nice of you to drop by! You are so cool, your interview turned out wonderful. Every once in a while I run across it on the web and chuckle while I read it on the site.
Elmer is pretty cool too, isn’t he? I’ve met and found some absolutely wonderful people online. Not sure what I would do without them. Glad to see you pass through, and feel free to stop by anytime! It is very cool that even the internet is a very “small world.”
Thanks!
Michelle
LOL - I must be having a “cool” New Year’s day - cause everything I just re-read is “cool!”
Thanks!
Michelle
